Commercial property owners and business owners in the Midtown/Eastside area (boundary map below) are invited to learn more about the initiative dedicated to elevating Santa Cruz’s Eastside/Midtown commercial corridor with additional services and beautification through a business improvement district.
In partnership with business district formation experts, Community Strong Strategies and KLI, Inc., we are holding two workshops this week to provide information to business owners and property owners about what a business improvement district is and to hear from property and business owners in the area about what services and improvements they would like to see in Miditown/Eastside to create a more established business district. During these meetings attendees are invited to ask questions and learn more about what is possible.
Join us in person or virtually at the meeting time that works best for your schedule:
Wednesday, September 11th from 5:00-6:30pm
Thursday, September 12th from 8:30-10:00am
Both meetings will be held at the Branciforte branch library (230 Gault Street) and light refreshments will be provided. A Zoom link will also be available to all registrants for the option to attend virtually. Please RSVP to let us know you’re coming.

The City of Santa Cruz is investing resources in this initiative that was sparked by business owners in the district to support the economic vitality and vibrancy of the Eastside/Midtown district as part of the City’s Economic Development Strategy.
