Back in May of 2019 a press release (read here) was sent us announcing that Venus Spirits has finalized plans and has begun to construct a new 11,500 square foot warehouse located in the developing Delaware Addition which is located on the bustling Westside. It would include a distillery and barrel storage capable of producing up to 50,000 cases annually. The center point to the new building would be Venus Spirits Cocktails and Kitchen, a new restaurant space designed by Stripe Design Group.
Well, it’s almost done! The planned date of opening will be just one year later, this May 2020 and we will definitely be first in line. Sean Venus was gracoius enough to give us a behind the scenes tour. While of course still under construction, two months out from opening, the space looks amazing! There will be several new job openings and hiring will begin soon. Already on board is Chef JP (read that announcement here) but Venus is looking to fill many more open positions including front of the house staff such as Bus persons, waiters, servers and bartenders.
