Venus Pie Trap is a new venture from Venus Spirits and Venus Spirits Cocktails & Kitchen. The new space located next to the beachside location in Aptos is built around the idea that pies should be enjoyed all day. Venus Pie Trap will offer sweet and savory pies, coffee and pizza. They are proud to have partnered with some of the bay area’s best makers, and will be sourcing pies from Oakland’s Edith’s Pie, coffee from 11th hour, pastries from Manresa Bread, and bagels from Holey Roller. Sean Venus, who is originally from Connecticut, is basing the pizza program on the New Haven style pizza that he enjoyed as a child. The pizza menu will include their interpretation of iconic New Haven pies like the tomato pie and the clam & garlic pie. Venus Pie Trap is scheduled to open September 1st 2022.
