The City of Santa Cruz is excited to announce the launch of The Santa Cruzer beach and downtown shuttle!
The Santa Cruzer program replaces the beloved Santa Cruz Trolley program with new all-electric vehicles to provide shuttle service connecting Downtown Santa Cruz and the Beach and Wharf area. The Santa Cruzer season will kick-off on Memorial Day weekend and runs through Labor Day with service from noon-8pm on weekends and holidays including July 4th. The mission of the Santa Cruzer program is threefold: to better connect the beach and downtown, to contribute to traffic mitigation and a reduction of parking impacts in the beach area, and to serve as a an amenity for tourists and hotel patrons and a resource for all visitors to our beach and downtown.
This program is buoyed by the support of local businesses and organizations through sponsorships, and we are requesting your support as we launch the new electric shuttle program. We have developed a sponsorship package with three levels of support and look forward to discussing what options might work best for your business needs. Sponsors of all levels are listed on the Santa Cruzer website: www.santacruzer.info and will be advertised as destinations for visitors to receive free ride coupons throughout the season.
