What an amazing night!!
Over 3000 were in attendance celebrating September 30, 2022 – The Expendables Day, proclaimed by the Mayor of Santa Cruz, Sonja Brunner (scroll down to the very bottom to read the proclamation). The party was held in conjunction with the Event Santa Cruz Midtown Fridays Summer Block Party Finale.
Over the last four months, Neil Pearlberg from the Off The Lip Radio Show scheduled over 35 music acts to entertain the crowd but for the finale he wanted to do something epic. And something EPIC is exactly what happen.
Not only was there a super well deserved proclamation ceremony and ribbon cutting (I know, it wasn’t a new business grand opening but we just wanted to have some fun with the ribbon and huge scissors) and opening band Santa Cruda (loved their set!) but like always, with The Expendables, it’s all about their fans. So they played a 2 hour set that completely energized the crowd.
