July 15th World Premiere of The Formula By Santa Cruz Playwright Kathryn Chetkovich Includes Nationally Recognized Actor Dion Graham
SANTA CRUZ, CA–Santa Cruz Shakespeare (SCS), an inspired professional theatre company with deep local roots that go back more than 40 years, today announced its summer season of live, outdoor performances, opens this weekend with the exciting World Premiere of The Formula, inspired by William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, written by Kathryn Chetkovich, directed by Ellen Maguire, a co-production with Blissfield.
Also opening this weekend is Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, directed by Paul Mullins. Opening Night of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, directed by Miriam Laube, will be July 28.
