SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – On Saturday, Oct. 15 the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge will host its annual Oktoberfest fundraiser. The event will be from 3-7 p.m. and held at 150 Jewell Street in Santa Cruz.
Guests will enjoy a festive atmosphere that features themed beverages and food as well as live music by Alpinesound. The ticket price includes an Oktoberfest menu of sausages, schnitzel, potato salad, pretzels and streusel. Beer provided by Discretion Brewing will be available for purchase and the Lodge Bar will be open. All ages are welcome and there will be root beer floats and activities for kids.
Doors open at 3 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for kids under 18 and can be purchased online at SantaCruzElksOktoberfest.eventbrite.com. The event is free for kids under 10. Larger groups can call the lodge for table reservations at 831-423-8240. All event pricing includes sales tax.
Proceeds from the event will support the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc. (CHEMPI) which provides free therapy for children with disabilities.
