Adrea Castiano is known for killing her audience softly. She is a storyteller, whose celestial voice draws you in, while her soulful lyrics plunge deep into love, heartache, and life challenges. Haunting and sweet, one could describe her style as a mix of Amy Winehouse, Regina Spektor, and Billie Eilish, with a big splash of Johnny Cash.
A Santa Cruz native, Adrea grew up listening to many genres and artists—from Ray Charles to Jack White to Bonnie Raitt. She began songwriting at a young age and hasn’t stopped. In March 2020, Adrea was awarded Best Overall by Songwriters at Play. She was also awarded Best Song and Runner Up by the West Coast Songwriters Association Monterey Chapter.
She currently resides in Moss Landing, where birds and the sounds of the harbor fuel her creativity. She is set to release several EP’s co-written and produced with local artists KR3TURE and Joaquin Sun of Drifter, as well as her own acoustic album.
