Tasting notes for our inaugural Hop Box subscription program.
BEER 1 – Socks & Sandals (6.6%) Foggy IPA Double dry hopped with Citra, Centennial, Simcoe & Chinook Notes: Big pine, citrus, and fresh squeeze OJ. Socks & Sandals is our only core beer, and we’ve tweaked the recipe for over 3 years. We brew it every week so it’s ALWAYS fresh.
BEER 2 – Elon Mollusk (6.6%) DDH West Coast IPA double dry-hopped with Mosaic and Cashmere Notes: Our hand-selected Mosaic brings subtle berry fruitiness combined with pineapple, orange zest, and pink grapefruit from Cashmere to create a complex, crispy, clear beer with an assertive bitterness reminiscent of an OG West Coast. One sip and you might just be inspired to colonize Mars too!
BEER 3 – Send It Series: Galaxy, Sabro, and Simcoe (8%) DDH Foggy DIPA Notes: The Send It series is the evolution of our Don Senderson series. Same massively full and pillowy mouthfeel with incredibly high rates of dry hopping—then we do it again with a second hop charge. The hops will rotate with each, but the malt bill stays the same. Expect notes of overripe pineapple, banana, and guava, white chocolate, a hint of macadamia nut, and a big, dank nose for this one!
BEER 4 – Hey Sea (8.1%) Hop-Fused Foggy DIPA Collab with Ruse Brewing fused with Riwaka, Nelson, and Motueka Notes: Quite “hey-sea” from tons of malted wheat and flaked oats, this DIPA is hop-fused heaven with aromas of dank blueberry, ripe cantaloupe, watermelon, a soft creamy mouthfeel, and a subtle citrusy hop bitterness that lingers on the palette.
