Spotlight on a Santa Cruz mainstay, Santa Cruz CORE Fitness & Rehab! CORE is a truly integrative wellness center, offering an array of services to help anyone with almost any problem get back to optimum health. CORE offers sports chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, personal training, nutrition counseling, prolotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and more.
CORE was founded in 2009 by Jaimi Jansen. After suffering a life-altering traumatic injury as a result of being hit by a car while biking near UCSC, Jaimi had a long and tedious recovery process. This helped her realize how instrumental certain therapies were in achieving optimal recovery. Through the frustration of having to communicate to many practitioners the same story of her health, and the time it took to get to her varied appointments, Jaimi dreamt of a place she could go where everyone she needed to see was under one roof. CORE brings professionals from many fields under one roof to create a truly integrative support system. By working together, they communicate more easily between practitioners to optimize your care.
With a location in Santa Cruz and in Watsonville, CORE encourages wellness and fitness in our community by participating in community events, hosting a bi-monthly running club for all fitness levels, providing a wealth of information on their blog, and so much more. Jaimi Jansen does frequent public speaking engagements, most recently at the Hive Global Leaders Summit at 1440 Multiversity. CORE has become a helpful and caring resource in our community for all things health and wellness related.
CORE will be providing FREE table massages at our Big Eastside Block Party this coming Friday at the new Pono Kitchen & Tap!
