Mak Nova is a local rapper and performance artist. Throughout her 10 years in Santa Cruz she has garnered a reputation for being a positive influence on her community by advocating for self-empowerment and embodied living. On March 25th she will be teaming up with Tha Homies; a carefully selected group of local black artists and their collaborators. Together, they will create an unforgettable evening of soulful sounds, revolutionary hip-hop and transformative stories to raise funds for her highly anticipated debut album which is scheduled to be released this summer. Mak Nova wants you to know that the event is not just a fundraiser or a show, it’s an EXPERIENCE, so she invites you to come on time and bring an open mind.

Mak Nova is a west coast rapper/performance artist. Her mission is to use her music and live performances to empower and inspire everyone she comes into contact with. With her fiery delivery, reflective lyrics and soul stirring dance moves, she draws audiences in and invites them to embody their highest potential. She has been performing around the Santa Cruz and Bay Area for the last 10 years at reputable venues such as 1015 Folsom, The Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Moes Alley, The Catalyst and more.
